Created at the initiative of the Louis-Jeantet Foundation and of SwissFoundations, an association of Swiss grant-making foundations, the House of Foundations aims at becoming a privileged place for meeting and exchanging with other foundations and philanthropic initiatives issuing from the Lake Geneva region. It was set up in response to the observation that foundations often aspire to work together more closely, and that sharing experiences and management structures is beneficial both for their smooth operation and for increasing their impact on society.
