Professorial Chairs

Since 1987, the Louis-Jeantet Foundations has financed the creation of Professorial Chairs at Faculty of Medicine. To date, 11 Louis-Jeantet Professors have been appointed.

An agreement between the University of Geneva and the Foundation governs the management of the funds of these positions. Louis-Jeantet Professors receive funding covering their academic salary, as well as expenses related to their research..
